Syntrix v1.8.1 - Richer assessments for interrupted simulations
Previously, timed-out or manually stopped simulations only received conversation-level assessments. That left gaps: no view of agent performance or the simulation as a whole when a run didn't finish cleanly.
As of this release, interrupted simulations get the same depth of insight as completed ones. In addition to conversation assessments, Syntrix generates:
- Agent-level assessments — how each agent performed across the conversations that were completed
- Simulation-level assessments — a rollup, with key takeaways at a glance
These agent- and simulation-level assessments only take into consideration the conversations that were completed, so the results stay reliable even when a simulation didn't finish as planned.
Why it matters: You no longer lose valuable data due to a timeout or manual stop. Salvage actionable, multi-level insights from partial runs.
Connect to Messaging (C2M) - Improved template validation
This release introduces a global enhancement to how we handle data within our Connect to Messaging (C2M) platform. This launch enforces stricter validation for messaging templates to improve integration reliability and error reporting.
What is changing?
We are updating the way our eligibility API endpoint processes template variables. This ensures you get clearer, more actionable feedback when setting up messaging handoffs:
- Clearer error reporting and accurate status codes: Previously, if an API request was sent with fewer variables than the handoff required, the system returned a standard success status (200) but vaguely marked the channel as eligible: false. Now, if a request is missing required variables and no valid channels pass validation, the endpoint will return a 400 error status, correctly identifying it as a bad request.
- Incomplete requests are dropped: Requests sent with missing variables are dropped until all channels in the request are exhausted.
- No impact on extra data: The above changes only affect requests with missing data; if you send more variables than required by the handoff, you will not experience any changes in system behavior.
Scope and availability
- Who is affected: This update applies to all brands utilizing the Connect to Messaging (C2M) platform.
- Deployment impact: We expect zero downtime or disruptions to your existing services during the active deployment process
