If you are using an older version of Email Connect, it is required to migrate to Email Connect 2.0 to continue receiving the best performance and new features. You can easily upgrade by using the self-service option in the Conversational Cloud.
- Navigate to Manage > Channel Setup and select Email. If you have Email Connect 1.0 you will see an “Action Required” message on the card to reconnect to Email Connect 2.0.
- Click Reconnect, and follow the step-by-step walkthrough to migrate to 2.0.
- First: Configure your Email Inbox. Your preferred email ID is here. Select your provider, then click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Microsoft or Google to choose your account. Enter your password and authorize the app.
- After authorization, you'll return to LivePerson to configure header photo, auto-response, skills, and test the connection.
That's it! Your account is now migrated from Email 1.0 to 2.0.
