Generative AI applications - Update on our initiative to migrate to Google Gemini
This is another update on LivePerson's initiative to migrate to Google Gemini models for our Conversational Cloud products using Generative AI.

Here's what's new:
EMEA brands: Imminent cutovers and new prompts
On April 18, 2026, we will cut over custom prompts to Gemini for the following products:
- Automated Conversation Summaries
- Copilot Rewrite
For Routing AI agents built in Conversation Builder, on April 18, 2026, new system prompts and optimized custom prompts are available in the system. You can preview the system prompts if desired, and you can start testing your custom prompts.
For AI agents created from use cases in aiStudio, by April 21, 2026 (or sooner for some use cases), prompts are available, so testing can begin.
NA brands: Imminent cutovers and new prompts
On April 19, 2026, we will cut over custom prompts to Gemini for the following products:

All brands: Notices about cutovers
Regarding cutover of system prompts, LivePerson needs to handle the Gemini-optimized system prompts that we released a short while ago for preview by you. During the cutover process, we will update their names, so they are prefixed with "Temp - ." In the near future, after we confirm that no brand is using them, we will delete them.
Regarding cutover of custom prompts, here's what happens: In all of your custom prompts in Production, LivePerson automatically updates the Provider, Subscription, and LLM settings, so they point to the preferred Gemini model for the given product (see the product-to-model mapping). In addition, and importantly, we will also update the prompt instructions so that your new Gemini-optimized custom prompt is used.
