From search to success: Introducing Google site links for RCS
LivePerson is pleased to announce the launch of organic RCS site links. This new feature allows you to capture high-intent traffic directly from Google search results, moving consumers from a simple brand search into a rich, verified conversational experience in their native messaging app.
Feature overview
RCS site links serve as an organic entry point into your branded messaging channel. When a consumer searches for your business by name on an Android device, a native "Chat" button will appear alongside your organic search results. This allows users to bypass website navigation and initiate a conversation at the exact moment their intent is highest.

- Direct conversion path: Leverages the native messaging inbox to convert leads into sales through one-on-one guided conversations.
- Verified brand trust: Conversations take place within a verified RCS profile, featuring your company name, logo, and a verification mark to inspire consumer confidence.
- Ongoing engagement: Builds persistent, long-term relationships within the native messaging app once the initial thread is started.
Customization
You have granular control over the entry point experience:
- Custom call-to-action (CTA): You can define the specific text for the site link button to align with your business goals (e.g., "Ask about deals").
- Pre-filled user messages: To jumpstart the flow, you can configure the specific body text that appears in the user's input field upon redirection (e.g., "I'm interested in hotel deals").
Setup and configuration

You must have an active RCS agent capable of handling lead generation or sales-related inquiries.

LivePerson Functions: Introducing fast and easy runtime upgrades
In this release, we introduce a new Runtime Upgrade feature that ensures your deployed functions always benefit from the latest security patches, performance improvements, and wrapper updates.
Previously, updating the underlying function wrapper required manual intervention or complex redeployments.
Now, whenever a new runtime version is released, the platform automatically detects if your deployed functions are out of sync and offers a seamless upgrade path.
Key features
- Version detection: An upgrade indicator now appears on the Function Overview screen if a function's current runtime is behind the latest available version.
- Seamless redeployment: The upgrade triggers an automated rebuild and redeployment of the function using the new runtime image.
- Functions live in Production: Upgrading a function that's live in Production keeps it in a productive state with the new runtime.
- Modified functions: If you have uncommitted changes (Modified state), upgrading the runtime rebuilds the function while preserving your uncommitted code, keeping it in a modified state.
Setup
➡️ This feature is only available if you've upgraded to LivePerson Functions v2 (FaaS v2).
No enablement steps or setup is required. Whenever a new runtime version becomes available for your functions, an update indicator appears next to the function name in the Deployed Functions section of the UI.
