Legacy Chat refers to LivePerson's session-based chat solution typically deployed on web properties. As part of our continued investment in modern customer engagement experiences, LivePerson is focusing innovation and development on Messaging, our flagship conversational platform.
What's Replacing Chat?
LivePerson Messaging is the recommended replacement for Legacy Chat.
Messaging provides:
- Persistent, asynchronous conversations across devices
- Improved operational efficiency
- Enhanced security, compliance, and scalability
- Support for AI-powered customer experiences and future platform innovations
