Document your conversational experience
It's recommended to document your design before building it in Conversation Builder. This is especially helpful for non-technical stakeholders to understand how your bot works.
Your design artifact can take the form of diagrams, scripts, wireframes, and/or prototypes.
Remember to document….
- How flows and dialogs connect to other dialogs and other bots.
- Where APIs, logic, context, and other integrations will be used.
- A current “as-is” design artifact, and note what is a future “to-be” flow (ie- one you’re optimizing, enhancing, or expanding upon to be released).
Example Diagramming Legend
The LP Conversation Design Team suggests establishing a "legend" of consistent diagram symbols. This is especially important when collaborating with other designers and developers.
