Here is an overview and high level things to remember when it comes to optimizing your bot:
- Identify team members responsible for monitoring and optimizing your bot.
- Decide your team’s optimization cadence.
- Usually the first few months post-launch will inspire many ideas for improvement. Just like an app or website, your AI can expand into more self-serve use cases. Remember to maintain up-to-date content as your business policies change.
- Review conversations (especially those that escalated), unmatched & unclassified phrases, and low MACs scores regularly.
- Your intent model, prompts, and KAI content will need to be updated as you learn how users engage with your bot.
- At minimum, update and release your Intent Model at least once a quarter.
- Newer models should be updated every other week for the first few months.
