The Autosummary Widget is an AI-powered feature that generates concise summaries of conversations. To enable this feature, you must reach out to your LivePerson account manager.
Here’s an overview of what will happen:
- Backend Configuration:
- Your account manager will enable the necessary features in the backend system.
- User and Skill Setup:
- You must create and configure a new user in Conversational Cloud, assigning the appropriate skills and permissions.
- Final Adjustments:
- The account manager will make the required updates to the site settings to finalize the setup.
To create and configure a new user and assign skills:
Log into Conversational Cloud.
Navigate to Users & Skills section in Conversational Cloud. The Users & Skills page appears.
Click Add user. The Add user page appears.
Create a human user, provide the required information and click Save.

Create a skill and assign it to the created agent.
Click Profile > Select the Profile used for the added user. The Edit Profile page appears.
Scroll down and enable Automated conversation summary permission for Agents.
Click Save.
Once this is done you must reach out to your LivePerson Account manager to make the required site settings to finalize the setup.
Upon configuration completion, the Autosummary Widget will begin generating summaries of conversations automatically.
