Upload of Unsupported File Types in New Post Image Upload

Description: When creating a new post, the image upload feature allows the upload of unsupported file types such as .txt, .zip, .gz, and other compression-related files. This issue could lead to improper handling of files and potential user confusion.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to community.liveperson.com.
  2. Start creating a new post.
  3. Use the image upload feature to select and upload a file.
  4. Attempt to upload files with unsupported extensions such as .txt, .zip, .gz, or other compression-related files.
  5. Observe that these files are accepted and uploaded.

Expected Behavior: The image upload feature should restrict file uploads to supported image formats (e.g., .jpg, .png, .gif) and prevent the upload of unsupported file types. An appropriate error message should be displayed if an unsupported file type is selected.

Actual Behavior: The image upload feature accepts and uploads unsupported file types such as .txt, .zip, .gz, and other compression-related files.
